REPORTS TO: Director, Customer Support

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application, especially in the telecom network applications domains such as Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), Home Networking and/or Fixed Wireless Access, etc.
  • Provide design and specification development support to customer’s engineering team.
  • Assist in the design and development of new products to make customers comfortable
  • Travel to project sites to preform start-up, integration, and training services
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects, and coordinate the internal and external resource to support the customer.

 

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent successful experience in telecommunication or data communication industry.
  • Experience 2 Years in Engineering
  • A solid understanding of network communications technology – Ethernet, VLAN, TCP/IP, PON, DSL, etc.
    A solid understanding of telecom network architecture.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Read the embedded software source code and have a solid understanding of the embedded software system.
    Read architectural, mechanical and electrical layout and have a solid understanding of the key functions of the commercial
