In January 2024, CIG commenced the construction on its new facility for an intelligent manufacturing and logistics support center, planning for 1 million square feet.

In May 2022, CIG registered its business entity in Malaysia, establishing a manufacturing hub for a range of products, including wired and wireless access products and optical modules.
Leveraging Malaysia's strategic location in the Asia-Pacific region, CIG aimed to expand its production capabilities, enhancing global customer service.

CIG acquired Lumentum Holdings' Datacom transceiver product lines from Oclaro, Japan, announced on March 4, 2019.
The company introduced innovative 200Gbps modules tailored for data center applications, including the industry's pioneering analog CDR-based 200G FR4 module, leveraging its optical module leading expertise.

CIG successfully completed the acquisition of MACOM Japan's LR4 100G long-range optical subassembly product line.
Formed the Tokyo-based subsidiary CIGTech Japan Ltd to capitalize on future growth of optical sub-assemblies (TOSAs and ROSAs) operating at speeds of 100G and beyond.
